Flavor Profile

This meaty and savory Syrah opens with aromatics of violets, black olive and dark chocolate. On the palate it explodes with a layered fruit medley including, black currants, boysenberry and black plum. The mouthfeel is luxurious and velvety. Well integrated tannins melt away to a generous and succulent mid palate with beautifully balanced acidity. The finish is generous with notes of fresh earth, smokey cedar, Cremini Mushroom and ends subtly with the essence of mountain blackberry cobbler ala' mode.
