About North Coast
The North Coast AVA has predictable weather patterns very similar to the Mediterranean. Warm, sunny days and cool, foggy nights allow for slow, even maturation, optimal flavor development and ideal sugar to acid balance. Specifically, the grapes in this red wine blend come from Windsor vineyards located in the rolling foothills just north of Ukiah.

This wine is a really great blend - the wine is full bodied like an amazing Cabernet but also very smooth like a Merlot. It works well with any Italian food with red sauce - from pizza to Lasagna.
