About Paso Robles
Centrally located halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles along California’s Central Coast, Paso Robles is home to distinct soils, many microclimates, and extraordinary topography. This region is famous for Zinfandel and Rhone varietals, as well as distinct blends unique to the area. Vines in this region have plenty of time to produce fully mature fruit, while overnight cooling keeps the grapes’ acidity in balance. Wines sourced from this AVA are generally full-bodied wines with rich fruit character, softer tannins and lower acidity.
